Free website grader, questions answered
Is the Glimmer Test free?+
Yes. The Glimmer Test is a completely free website grader. No sign up, no email needed, just paste your link.
What does the website grader check?+
It rates your website design across six areas: navigation, hero section, typography, layout, imagery and how useful the page is to visitors, then gives you an overall Glimmer Score out of 100.
How is my website rated?+
Your homepage is captured and reviewed through a designer's eyes using AI vision, weighted the way Harry Perkins, a London web designer, would judge a site.
Do you store my website?+
No. The site you test is not saved. Results are shown to you and then removed, only anonymous usage counters are kept.
What should I do with a low score?+
Start with the top changes listed in your results. If you want a proper redesign, send your site to Harry for a personal take.
